We are looking for a senior paralegal to support our third party sales and distribution team. This senior paralegal will support the legal team that manages third party dealer distribution and will be responsible for reviewing and drafting legal documents, including dealer agreements, contract amendments, letters, non-disclosure agreements and other related contracts. This individual will consult with attorneys, paralegals and sales clients on a daily basis, in addition to supporting the overall dealer contracting process. In addition, this senior paralegal will review sales channel projects and initiatives related to third party distribution, including serving as a primary point contact for such projects.

What you'll do in your role.

  • Point contact for dealer contracts and communications. Work directly with national and local sales teams to provide guidance on contract forms, breach processes and other contracting processes.
  • Efficiently and accurately draft and produce legal documents, for sales and distribution; may negotiate routine agreements in addition to drafting complex breach notices. Provide additional contracting support for attorneys and other paralegals on the team.
  • Support Sales attorneys in various projects, including acting as a proxy for attorneys during project meetings, looking for risks, and providing legal requirements.
  • Perform complex legal research under attorney oversight, analyze data and present synopsis.
  • Establishing strong working relationships with internal clients and external contracting parties.
  • Provide significant coaching, guidance and training to less experienced paralegals and others.

The experience you'll bring.

  • Associates Degree or greater with a minimum of 5+ years of paralegal experience, or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Very strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with all levels of company management, colleagues, internal clients, and outside counsel
  • Ability to demonstrate professional, appropriate responses in confidential situations
  • Strong organizational skills that result in consistent volume and quality of output as well as the ability to manage multiple project simultaneously
  • Ability to operate independently with limited attorney supervision in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Expert in Legal Software such as Lexis Nexis or TRIM, if required
  • Solid project management and organization skills
