As Sr. Pricing Manager, you will provide strategic and analytical leadership for pricing initiatives that drive enterprise value. Building on your razor-sharp business acumen, problem-solving skills, and analytical horsepower, you will structure our strategic pricing roadmap, design new products, and develop T-Mobile’s core portfolio of services to maximize consumer appeal and the firm’s profitability. You will work collaboratively with business partners, including executives in marketing, operations, finance, and product development, to secure buy-in and drive issues to resolution.

What you'll do in your role.

Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership
  • Make recommendations to executive leadership on pricing strategies. Communicate pricing strategy, structure, policies and processes to organization
  • Analyze industry dynamics, market forces, and competitors' pricing activities to evaluate implications for the company. Determine optimal responses to competitors’ moves using analytical frameworks and models
  • Define product requirements by working collaboratively with new product development teams. Model pricing structure and profitability expectations of new product launches
  • Identify and resolve complex business issues in customer acquisition, retention, and revenue enhancement, that are critical to the firm’s strategic success
  • Hire, coach, and lead a high caliber team of marketing professionals

The experience you'll bring.

  • 7+ years Strategic Analysis including, but not limited to, financial modeling and developing/influencing corporate strategy
  • Ability to translate customer needs and insights into actionable business levers
  • Excellent problem solving, business communication, and organizational influence skills, and experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills to understand market movements, pricing, and overall financial levers/analysis
  • Proficient in financial analytics, strategic frameworks, and competitive analysis
  • MBA, or advanced degree in a Quantitative discipline, preferably Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Math, Business, Finance, or Information Management
  • Previous experience managing marketing/pricing function preferred

Managers (at least mine) actually listened to and advocated for their employees. Great pay. Nice perks. Good culture -- people didn't seem miserable.


As with any big company, can take a while for things to get done. Lots of layers, etc. But definitely moves faster than other big companies I've worked for.

Advice to Management

Don't advance those mid- to senior mgrs who just go through the motions. Do more to keep smart, talented people on board.
