Sr Analyst, Pricing

What you'll do in your role.

Responsibilities :
Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership.
• Develops deep understanding of industry, corporate, and customer drivers in order to conduct business performance optimization analysis
• Builds comprehensive financial/quantitative models to evaluate pricing opportunities and their impact on T-Mobile’s overall portfolio value. Provide analytical support by framing complex pricing problems, identifying variable relationship, distilling insights from data, and presenting findings
• Collaborate across functions, including finance, product management, corporate strategy and sales, to manage price factors that influence customer acquisition, retention and revenue

The experience you'll bring.

Qualifications :
• 1+ years related work experience, including, but not limited to, financial modeling and developing corporate strategy
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint. SQL knowledge and database experience
• Proficient in reporting, visualization, analytics tools (SAS, SQL preferred)
• Ability to communicate highly quantitative or analytical findings succinctly and in formats easily understood by senior management
• Strong financial modeling; experience with performance analysis, business case analytics, forecasting

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering, or other quantitative field
• MBA or PhD Preferred (Quantitative Marketing, Decision-making, or Finance)

Managers (at least mine) actually listened to and advocated for their employees. Great pay. Nice perks. Good culture -- people didn't seem miserable.


As with any big company, can take a while for things to get done. Lots of layers, etc. But definitely moves faster than other big companies I've worked for.

Advice to Management

Don't advance those mid- to senior mgrs who just go through the motions. Do more to keep smart, talented people on board.
