This person will be responsible for developing T-Mobiles media strategies across multiple lines of business. They will be leading the planning, execution and administration of the media buys to ensure compliance with marketing and media objectives. We are looking for a strategic leader to drive holistic plans that deliver results. Position works closely with Senior Management and Agency Partners to create and evaluate media strategies based on go-to-market strategies, business goals, cost, timing and competitive. We are seeking someone who is eager to learn, has a point of view and provides innovative thinking to solve problems. This person needs to be a team player and ability to be responsive to business needs in a fast paced environment.

What you'll do in your role.

Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership.
•Lead and manage holistic media strategies and plans that deliver on business objectives.
•Provide coaching and leadership to Managers, as well as to cross functional teams.
•Work with cross functional teams to align on marketing strategies and to drive solutions to business challenges.
•Leverage research to optimize media investments, across all media, on an ongoing basis.
•Lead agencies and internal Finance partners to ensure performance standards are met.
.•Manage process to deliver efficient and effective media programs.

The experience you'll bring.

•Minimum 8-10 years media management experience within consumer products or retail industry (experience in media planning at an advertising agency highly recommended).
•Deep media knowledge and experience working with multiple business segments
•Strong knowledge of the media landscape and the latest trends in the industry
•Ability to drive and manage both local and national strategies and plans
•Familiar with a full range of media (National and Spot TV, Digital, Radio, Print, Outdoor, Mobile, Hispanic media, etc.)
•Strong verbal and written communication skills •Strong financial, analytical and organizational skills
•Ability to manage and lead multiple programs in a fast paced environment
•Performance Analysis, including test market experience
•Experience working with multiple agencies including media, advertising and promotions
•Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint
•Agency Management
•High School Diploma/GED

Managers (at least mine) actually listened to and advocated for their employees. Great pay. Nice perks. Good culture -- people didn't seem miserable.


As with any big company, can take a while for things to get done. Lots of layers, etc. But definitely moves faster than other big companies I've worked for.

Advice to Management

Don't advance those mid- to senior mgrs who just go through the motions. Do more to keep smart, talented people on board.
